TECHSPEC® N-BK7 Wedged Windows는 30 arcminute wedge의 표준 미터법(metric) 크기로 제공됩니다. 이 윈도우의 웨지(wedge)는 후면에서 일어나는 반사가 투과빔과 동일한 광경로를 따라 이동하는 것을 방지하는 방식으로 에탈론 효과를 제거합니다. 레이저 공진기에서의 wedged window는 불필요한 반사로 인해 야기되는 레이저의 불안정성, 모드 변화, 전력 급등을 방지하는 데 도움이 됩니다. TECHSPEC N-BK7 Wedged Windows는 Fused Silica Wedged Windows를 대체할 수 있는 비용 효율적인 제품으로서 UV 투과를 요구하지 않는 용도나 고출력 VIS 또는 NIR 레이저에서와 같이 높은 수준의 열 안정성을 필요로 하지 않는 용도에 사용됩니다. 이 밖에도 wedged window는 빔 샘플러나 빔 픽오프 광학 부품처럼 사용되어 시간 경과에 따른 빔의 강도와 같이 레이저 빔의 특성을 모니터링할 때 사용할 수 있습니다.
