Right Angle Prisms
Right Angle Prism은 주로 이미지 경로를 굴절시키거나 빛의 방향을 90° 변경하는 데 사용됩니다. Right Angle Prism은 90° 각도로 디자인된 Prism입니다. Right Angle Prism은 prism 방향에 따라 반전 또는 역전된 왼쪽으로 회전된 이미지를 생성합니다. Right Angle Prism 두 개를 함께 사용하면 이미지 또는 빔 이동 용도로 아주 적합합니다. 이 prism들은 image reflection 또는 reflecting prism으로도 알려져 있습니다.
Edmund Optics는 다양한 사이즈, substrate 또는 반사 또는 AR 코팅 옵션이 적용된 폭 넓은 범위의 Right Angle Prism을 공급합니다. 알루미늄 반사 코팅은 Prism의 빗면에서 반사율을 높이는 데 사용할 수 있습니다. UV-VIS, MgF2, VIS 0°, VIS-NIR 또는 NIR I을 포함한 AR 코팅은 UV, VIS 또는 IR 범위에서 Prism 면의 반사율 저감용으로 이용할 수 있습니다. Laser line AR 코팅도 많이 사용되는 laser 파장에 이용할 수 있습니다. Substrate 옵션에는 N-BK7, UV Fused Silica, N-SF11, Calcium Fluoride (CaF2), Germanium (Ge) 또는 Zinc Selenide (ZnSe)가 포함되어 있습니다.
Coated and Uncoated Right Angle Prisms
- Used as internal reflectors only
- Uncoated or antireflection coated options; used to reflect and manipulate light by Total Internal Reflection (TIR).
- Also available with specialized mirror coatings, which removes the angular dependence of TIR.
- Used to deviate light by 90° or 180° depending on the entrance surface.

- First surface mirrors used as external reflectors only
- Reduce alignment time and improve robustness of an optical system vs equivalent flat mirror
- Offered with coating on legs or hypotenuse for different manipulation options
