Olympus LED Transmitted Light Illumination Bases

Olympus LED Transmitted Light Illumination Bases are designed for use with the Olympus Stereo Microscopes SZX and SZ to enhance research with precise and flexible illumination control. Offering both quad and single LED position models, these bases support a wide range of contrast methods through an interchangeable cartridge system—brightfield (low, standard, high), oblique, darkfield, polarized, and shutter cartridges are available. The slim 41.5mm profile of this base provides a lower eyepoint and unobstructed access to samples, improving both comfort and efficiency during long observation sessions. Olympus LED Transmitted Light Illumination Bases use high-efficiency LEDs that generate minimal heat, reducing sample damage while delivering up to 60,000 hours of consistent illumination. These bases are ideal for integration into research systems where unmatched flexibility and control in stereomicroscopic imaging are required.
