Linear Variable Edge Filters

Linear Variable Edge Filter는 개별적으로 사용하거나 쌍으로 사용해 특정 파장을 선별적으로 차단하거나 통과시킵니다. Linear Variable Edge Filter는 longpass, shortpass 또는 dichroic filter로 사용할 수 있습니다. Longpass edge filter는 cut-on 파장보다 긴 파장을 투과시키고 Shortpass edge filter는 cut-off 파장보다 짧은 파장을 투과시킵니다. Dichroic edge filter는 longpass edge filter와 비슷하게 작동하지만 원치 않는 파장은 반사시킵니다. 조합해서 사용할 경우 Linear Variable Edge Filter는 laser line filter 또는 variable bandpass filter 역할을 할 수 있으며 중심 파장 및 대역폭을 조절할 수 있습니다.
